Stellato-Dudek on what’s next after these Olympics

Figure skaters Stellato-Dudek and Deschamps spoke with CBC News after their free skate program. Despite the fact that their Olympics didn’t go quite as they hoped, after a fall in the short-program last night, they are proud of making it here. 

Stellato-Dudek said her head injury has meant they have had limited training time over the past few weeks. At age 42, Stellato-Dudek’s journey to the Olympics has been unusual, and remarkable. She returned to the sport after a 16-year break with the goal of going to the Olympics. 

When asked what is next in her figure skating career, she said she needed time to fully recover. 

“I am not sure I am done yet,” she said.
