It seems like everything is on sale all the time these days. Retailers are constantly clamoring for our attention with shiny deals and sitewide discounts, hoping to compete for our attention in an oversaturated market. This effort has created a sense of deal fatigue among consumers, and in some cases, has also cheapened the perception of the brands themselves.

But some retailers have taken a different approach, only offering sales a few times a year to make their brands seem more exclusive and their deals seem more enticing. It’s a classic page out of the old luxury handbook, which says that only hosting a few sales (or none at all) can improve a brand’s reputation and demand.

For the brands that only offer very occasional discounts, Black Friday is typically the time we see their best deals. Below, we’ve rounded up a list of brands that rarely offer big sales, along with details about their current discounts. This is Away’s one major sale of the year. You’ll occasionally find deals on certain products throughout the year as well, but this is your big chance to save on the brand’s viral luggage. We love its signature hard-shell suitcases and its packing accessories.

Disney Plus with Hulu: Select bundles are up to 60% off

The standout offer in Disney Plus and Hulu’s Black Friday promotion is a steep discount on the ad-supported bundle, giving new and eligible returning members more than 60% off their first year. With this deal, the bundle’s monthly cost drops from $12.99 to $4.99 for 12 months. Disney is also offering a rare price cut on the ad-free bundle: subscribers can lock it in for $14.99 per month for a year before it returns to its regular price (currently $19.99 a month). That works out to a monthly savings of about 25%.

Hill House Home: 25% off everything

The brand still offers a sale section year-round, so it’s not that you can never get discounts, but it’s rare for the whole site to be on sale. Jenni Kayne: 25% off everything and $50 back if you spend $250

Known for its luxe cashmere and classic wear-forever sweaters, Jenni Kayne is an unsurprising favorite of Meghan Markle and the Reviews team alike. The brand does have seasonal sales and promotions around big holidays, but it’s definitely not common to find its bestsellers on sale. We’ve seen discounts go as low as 40% at Jenni Kayne, but typically those promotions are on out-of-season items. This sale is across the whole site, and includes $50 back if you spend $250.

Jones Road: 25% off minis and up to 20% off everything else

I love Jones Road’s makeup (that’s me and my favorite products in the picture up there) because its gives me a natural look while hydrating my skin. The Miracle Balms I mentioned above are my number one, but don’t sleep on its foundation if you like lightweight coverage.

L.L.Bean: 15% off everything
