Sees a fresh breakout
Since May, the stock of CG Power and Industrial Solutions has been drifting lower. This happened on the back of a resistance at ₹705. But last week, particularly on Friday, the stock rallied sharply. This led to the breach of a trendline resistance at ₹680.
Consequently, on the weekly chart, the price action resembles a bull flag breakout, suggesting a potential rally ahead which can lift the stock to ₹860. Buy now at ₹694 and ₹670. Place stop-loss at ₹640. When the price hits ₹730, modify the stop-loss to ₹680. Raise the stop-loss further to ₹760 when stock touches ₹800. Exit at ₹860.
Info Edge (India) (₹1,357.50)
Chart indicates a decline
The stock of Info Edge (India) (Naukri) has been in a downtrend since June. The fall was triggered by the barrier at ₹1,530. While it saw a recovery recently, it was capped at ₹1,420, a resistance where the 50-day moving average coincides. The prevailing price action indicates that the stock could resume the fall.
The price is likely to decline to ₹1,225 in the near-term. Therefore, traders can short the stock at ₹1,360. Place initial stop-loss at ₹1,400. When the price softens to ₹1,300, trail the stop-loss to ₹1,350. Move the stop-loss lower to ₹1,300 when stock touches ₹1,260. Exit at ₹1,260.
RattanIndia Enterprises (₹61.30)
Trend turning bullish
The stock of RattanIndia Enterprises gained nearly 17 per cent last week by bouncing off the 21-week moving average at ₹52. This has resulted in the stock forming a higher low and the overall structure of the chart hints at a potential bullish trend reversal.
While there is a hurdle ahead at ₹68, we expect the scrip to surpass this level and appreciate to ₹85 in the medium-term. Buy the stock at ₹61 and accumulate at ₹56. Place initial stop-loss at ₹48. When the stock rises above ₹70, alter the stop-loss to ₹60. On a rally to ₹80, trail the stop-loss to ₹75. Book profits at ₹85.
