Andrea’s review, size medium: If I had to live on an island and could only take one pair of undies with me, it’d probably be these. I love something that hugs me gently without cutting off circulation or easily bunching into wedgies. The Whipped High Rise slipped on so smoothly, and the micromodal felt seamless on my skin all day. These are the epitome of what I look for in great undies. My only uncertainty is how long they’ll last since the fabric is quite thin.
Ashley’s review, size XS: If there’s such a thing as lounge underwear, these are the perfect pair. The featherweight material is so incredibly comfortable, you hardly notice you’re wearing them. I’m also a bit uncertain about how long they’ll hold up over time, but my hope is a while because I’m a big fan. They’re expensive, but it’s definitely a reflection of the quality.
Sally’s review, size L: I agree with Andrea — these are maybe the most comfortable underwear I own. They’re buttery soft and almost weightless, so they’re great for hot weather under flowy dresses, but the smooth material is also extremely comfortable under jeans. The waistband doesn’t dig whatsoever, which is my biggest pet peeve with underwear.
A three-year update from Sally: I still love these underwear, but heed my warning that throwing them in with the rest of your laundry is a bad idea. Over time, the extremely delicate material started developing holes that got worse every time I washed them. I highly recommend putting anything in the Whipped material into a mesh intimates bag and washing on a gentle cycle.
Editor’s note: When we first reviewed these underwear, the cut was slightly fuller. Others on our team have since tested the slimmer French Cut and shared our original testers’ sentiments that the comfort reigns supreme, but the thin material needs to be washed in an intimates bag if you want it to last.
