Movers & Shakers: Stocks That Will See Action This Week

Blue Star (₹1,697.55)

Bears gain traction

While the trend has been flat for the stock of Blue Star since early November, losing nearly 6 per cent last week indicates that the bears are gaining traction. As long as the barrier at ₹1,850 holds well, the bias will be bearish and the likelihood for a fall is high. On the downside, it can fall to ₹1,460 in the near term.

For a better risk-reward ratio, traders can wait for the price to hit ₹1,750 before going short. But traders with high risk appetite can short at ₹1,700 itself. In both cases, initial stop-loss can be ₹1,850. When the price drops to ₹1,580, trail the stop-loss to ₹1,700. Revise the stop-loss lower to ₹1,580 when the stock declines to ₹1,500. Book profits at ₹1,460.

Great Eastern Shipping Company (₹1,107.25)

Fresh leg of rally ahead

The trend has been positive for the stock of Great Eastern Shipping Corporation since March 2025. But for more than two months now, the price has been flat, oscillating between ₹1,060 and ₹1,140. Yet, the uptrend has not been invalidated and the stock managed to stay flat recently even as the broader market was under pressure.

Also, the sideways movement has taken the 21-week moving average to ₹1,070, which can help trigger the rally. We expect it to begin rallying soon. So, buy now at ₹1,107 with a stop-loss at ₹1,030. When the stock reaches ₹1,280, trail the stop-loss to ₹1,180. On a rally to ₹1,380, tighten the stop-loss further to ₹1,320. Exit at ₹1,450.

DCM Shriram (₹1,103.95)

At a key support

The resistance at ₹1,200 remained strong and blocked the stock of DCM Shriram from moving ahead since July 2021. However, in July 2025, it broke out of this to mark a high of ₹1,501.70. That said, there has been a moderation in recent months, and the scrip is now hovering around ₹1,100. But there is a key support ahead at ₹1,050 where a trendline coincides.

We forecast a rebound on the back of this and eventually, the price can go up to ₹1,600. So, buy go long now at ₹1,103 with a stop-loss at ₹990. When the price hits ₹1,400, raise the stop-loss to ₹1,300. Tighten the stop-loss further to ₹1,420 when the stock reaches ₹1,500. Liquidate the longs at ₹1,600.
