Alphabet (GOOGL, Financials) will build a new artificial intelligence campus in South Korea as part of a partnership aimed at expanding its global AI footprint and strengthening ties with local industry.
The agreement was announced following a meeting between South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and DeepMind Chief Executive Demis Hassabis. The project includes a memorandum of understanding between the government and Google.
