Kalshi Is Building A Prediction Market Terminal For Professional Traders

Multiple media reports say that Kalshi is building a prediction market terminal for professional traders that’s similar to a Bloomberg Terminal.

Kalshi is reportedly developing a new interface that will allow traders to track the company’s prediction market contracts and wagers.

The new terminal is currently in the testing phase with a small group of traders and has been in development for about a month.

More From Cryptoprowl:

Some of the features of the terminal include tracking popular prediction market contracts; the ability to see all trades as they’re placed; and the ability to view individual contracts.

Users can customize their terminal and are able to manage multiple positions in varying markets at one time. Kalshi has not commented on the terminal, which is still in the development phase.

Prediction markets enable people to bet on real-world events such as elections and sporting contests. Kalshi is one of the top two prediction markets in the world, along with Polymarket.

Once launched, Kalshi may evolve the terminal to include research and other external information, similar to that of Bloomberg’s popular terminal that serves Wall Street traders.

While Kalshi’s new terminal will initially focus on the company’sprediction markets, the long-term goal is to extend it to other asset classes.

Recently, Kalshi announced that it has received approval to offer perpetual futures on cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (CRYPTO: $BTC).

The company has also recently launched a new “American Power Index,” which it calls a real-time measure of political power using Kalshi’s proprietary data.

Kalshi is privately held and its stock doesn’t trade on a public exchange.
