Traffic is being diverted to east and westbound I-635 as police investigate, officials say.
DALLAS — The southbound lanes of U.S. 75 were closed near the busy interchange with I-635 in Dallas on Tuesday as police investigated a crash that left a pedestrian dead, officials say.Â
Police say they were called to the crash around 11:30 a.m. and found a pedestrian who appeared to have been hit by a vehicle while crossing the highway.
Dallas Fire-Rescue was also called to the scene, and the pedestrian died, police say. The pedestrian was not identified.Â
Dallas police say traffic is being diverted to east and westbound I-635 and ask drivers in the area to see alternate routes as the investigation continues.Â
