ALKEME Insurance Acquires New York’s Alliance Brokerage

California-based ALKEME Insurance announced it has acquired Alliance Brokerage Corp., a Melville, New York-based property/casualty agency.

The acquisition strengthens ALKEME’s presence on the East Coast and adds insurance and risk management expertise in both real estate and construction insurance.

Alliance Brokerage Corp. serves a range of clients, including professional service providers, contractors, and property-focused businesses. The firm is headed by Alan and Jonathan Zack.

“This acquisition further demonstrates our commitment to expanding ALKEME’s geographic reach while also deepening our expertise in key industry verticals,” said Curtis Barton, CEO of ALKEME.

The news of the transaction came just days after ALKEME announced it acquired Gotham Brokerage Co., a New York City insurance agency specializing in insurance for condos, co-ops, and apartments with a concentration in the high-value real estate markets of Brooklyn and Manhattan.

ALKEME is ranked by Insurance Journal as one of the top 25 largest agencies in the country.
