Alphabet (GOOG, Financials) introduced Gemini 3.1 Pro, the latest update to its flagship artificial intelligence model, highlighting improvements in reasoning and complex problem-solving.

Google said Gemini 3.1 Pro achieved a verified score of 77.1% on the ARC-AGI-2 benchmark, which measures a model’s ability to solve new logic patterns. The company said that result more than doubled the reasoning performance of Gemini 3 Pro.

The new version is available to developers through the Gemini API in Google AI Studio, Gemini CLI and Android Studio. It is also accessible to enterprise customers via Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise, and to consumers through the Gemini app and NotebookLM.

Alphabet previously said Gemini surpassed 740 million monthly active users, reflecting broad adoption across consumer and enterprise platforms.

Shares of Alphabet were little changed in late morning trading following the announcement.

Investors will watch whether continued model upgrades translate into stronger cloud revenue, higher enterprise adoption and competitive gains in the rapidly evolving AI market.
