Bank of Baroda signs MoU with TN-SRLM at Global Women Summit 2026 to finance SHGs

Bank of Baroda, Chennai Zone, said it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihoods Mission (TN-SRLM) at the Global Women Summit held at the Chennai Trade Centre on Wednesday (January 29, 2026) to extend financial services to the Self-Help Groups (SHGs) promoted by TN-SRLM across the State of Tamil Nadu.
Udhayanidhi Stalin, Deputy Chief Minister, Government of Tamil Nadu, along with senior officials including Pradip Yadav, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, SPID; Asha Ajith, IAS, TNWeSafe Project; S. Divyadharahini, IAS, Managing Director – TNCDW & CEO – TN-SRLM; Vijaya N, GM, Indian Overseas Bank & Convenor, SLBC Tamil Nadu; T. N. Suresh, GM & Zonal Head, Bank of Baroda, Chennai Zone; and Sreenivas Ravipati, DGM (Business Development), Chennai Zone among others were present at the event.
Organised by TN-SRLM in coordination with TN-WESAFE, the summit brought together Bank of Baroda and leading public sector banks.
