Bank of India PAT rises 7.4% to ₹2,705 crore

Bank of India’s (BoI) standalone profit after tax (PAT) increased 7.4% to ₹2,705 crore in the third quarter of fiscal 2026, as against ₹2,518 crore in the year-earlier period. Net interest income increased 6% to ₹6,461 crore as against ₹6,070 crore in the year earlier. Net interest margin (NIM) narrowed to 2.6% from 2.8% in the year-ago period. The bank’s share of gross NPAs in total advances improved to 2.3% in the December quarter from 3.8% in the year earlier.

Advances increased 6% to ₹13,681 crore in the reporting quarter from ₹12,918 crore in the same period in the previous fiscal.

Deposits rose 7% to ₹10,341 crore in the reporting quarter from ₹9,629 crore in the corresponding quarter of fiscal 2025. Net interest margin (NIM) narrowed to 2.6% in the reporting quarter from 2.8% in the year-ago period. 

The bank’s share of Gross Non-Performing Assets (NPA) in total advances improved to 2.3% in the quarter ended December 2025 from 3.8% in the year-ago period. Net NPA came in at 0.6% in the reporting quarter, better than than 0.85% in the year-ago period.
