UHY International has expanded its global network to Cambodia by incorporating East Wing Auditing and Consulting, based in Phnom Penh.
The UHY International network now comprises more than 320 offices in 96 countries, employing more than 10,000 people worldwide.
East Wing, established in 2010, has a diverse client base, providing services across manufacturing, IT, construction, and distribution sectors. The firm is staffed by three partners and 15 members.
The demand for audit and advisory services in Cambodia is stated to be on the rise, with increasing numbers of entrepreneurs seeking to list their companies on local and international stock exchanges, highlighted UHY.
East Wing is poised to capitalise on the growth opportunities presented by its alignment with UHY International, under the guidance of managing partner and CEO Michael Koh, alongside chairman Sorn Sokha.
The addition of East Wing is said to have come at a time when the accountancy and business advisory sector is adapting to the needs of clients facing challenges from high inflation and rising global tariffs.
UHY International CEO Rhys Madoc said: “We are delighted to have East Wing join our rapidly growing network in the Asia-Pacific region. Cambodia is an extremely important market for us as well as for multinationals.”
“Our member firms are seeing increased requests for cross-border work. Challenges such as tariff volatility creates more opportunity for firms.”
“As part of UHY International’s network, East Wing can now help their clients meet these challenges head on, whilst also looking ahead to achieving more organic growth.”
East Wing CEO and managing partner Michael Koh said: “We are excited to join UHY International and to work closely with the network. This will help us scale our client base while retaining operational independence.”
“Joining UHY International’s network brings many opportunities for East Wing to grow its revenues. Under a unified global brand, we will remain competitive in a rapidly changing environment, while delivering the highest-quality service possible to our clients.”
“We’re really looking forward to collaborating with UHY International’s unified network of specialist tax, audit and accounting professionals. We see this dramatically increased bandwidth and overseas presence as a substantial competitive advantage.”
UHY’s global network, established in 1986 by the UK’s UHY Hacker Young and the US’s Urbach Kahn & Werlin, ranks among the top 20 international accountancy networks.
in June 2025, UHY added Sabino & Company, a certified public accounting firm from St. Louis, to its network.
