Cleveland Browns Free Agency Preview

Malik Willis – While the Browns might have an interest in signing him, it makes very little sense for him to come to Cleveland. They lack an offensive line and quality pass catchers. At the same time he would be sharing a position room with Sanders and Watson, instead of a team like the Colts where he is the obvious starter and surround by talent if they don’t bring Jones back.
Marcus Mariota – This type of player could be an option as a veteran to battle Sanders. He knows he isn’t going to sign as a starter anywhere but in Cleveland there is an easier route to getting the starting job if Sanders struggles.
Tyler Huntley – If there was a free agent quarterback they are most likely to sign I would predict it would be Huntley as he has a connection to Monken and could be a player who can help teach Sanders while operating as the backup quarterback.
Don’t be shocked to see them turn to the trade market where player’s don’t have a choice. I think it will be a cheaper move in terms of picks or one where they might take on a player like Geno Smith alongside a day two pick as a contract dump rather than spending valuable assets for someone like Mac Jones.
