The Coffee Board is holding ‘extensive’ awareness and capacity-building programmes to increase the number of growers registering on its mobile application for EUDR compliance, said the Board’s chief executive officer (CEO) and Secretary Kurma Rao.

The Coffee Board has provision on its mobile app for the exporters and growers to register and add geo-location data.

The Board is interacting with all associations and stakeholders to improve awareness. There are about 4.41 lakh growers. So far, the app has about 9,000 registrations for EUDR compliance.

Coffee exports in 2024-2025 crossed the $1,000 million mark for the fourth consecutive year to register $1,803 million. There is slight growth in volume of exports too, he said.

In the domestic market, the Board is working on improving the per capita consumption. There will be “Walk With Coffee” across the country this year for International Coffee Day on October 1, he said.
