One of the best mid-major conferences in all of college basketball, the Missouri Valley Conference, is getting more and more wide open for the taking as teams enter the stretch run.
Murray State (18-8, 10-5 MVC) is tied for second in the conference with Bradley, behind Belmont, and is looking to keep pace with a trip to the Hulman Center in Terre Haute, Indiana, to take on the Indiana State Sycamores (10-15, 3-11 MVC).
If you are looking for some betting advice for the matchup, we’ve got you covered. Here are the latest odds for the game, courtesy of DraftKings.

Murray State vs. Indiana State prediction, pick
A bit of an eyebrow-raising spread considering the records of these teams overall and in conference play, it only sheds light on the topsy-turvy status of the Missouri Valley Conference.
Murray State is the better team on paper here. They can score the ball better, rebound better, and have the best guard play in the game with Javon Jackson (16.3 PPG). But the Racers have been sliding. Dropping five of their last seven, they are fighting to stay within reach of Belmont in the standings.
Indiana State has the frontcourt action of Ian Scott (13.7 PPG, 6.6 RPG) to stretch the Murray State defense, but they are also in a rut. The Sycamores are just 2-9 in the last 11. They have to find a way to score to stick around with Murray State.
That’s the difference here. The Racers pack too much offense for Indiana State to match for 40 minutes. The Sycamores can keep this close and be within a run most of the game, but Murray State gets a big win to stay afloat in the conference race.
Prediction: Murray State 85, Indiana State 77
Best Bet: Murray State -3.5
