EXCLUSIVE: Former White House Physician Ronny Jackson Points To White House Staffer In Biden Cover-Up Probe


Former White House physician and current Republican Texas Rep. Ronny Jackson told the Daily Caller in a Monday interview that ongoing congressional investigations are overlooking a key White House staffer.

“I think they’ve got a pretty good list to start with, but I think one of the people, you know, having been in the White House for a while that I think would be absolutely key in what what was going on, they need to look [at] the staff secretary,” Jackson responded when asked who else he would like to see testify before Congress regarding the probes into the Biden mental decline cover-up and the use of the autopen. “The staff secretary handles every piece of paper that goes in and out of the Oval Office and everything that has the president’s signature on it.” (RELATED: ‘Who Was Signing Those?’: Ex-WH Doctor Asks Who Was ‘In Charge’ During Biden Admin)

Jackson added that he was “kind of shocked” when he saw “the initial list from Chairman Comer that the staff secretary was not on there.”

“So I plan to suggest that the staff secretary be included in the witnesses that show up on the House side,” he said.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer has requested a transcribed interview with Neera Tanden, who previously served as White House staff secretary and senior adviser during the Biden administration.

Stefanie Feldman also held the role under the Biden administration, but has yet to be subpoenaed by Comer or asked to give testimony by the committee as of Tuesday morning.

When questioned about senior advisers’ potentially excessive involvement in medical oversight as the president’s physician, Jackson admitted that although he found such interference inappropriate it was regrettably “normal.”

“When I was physician to both Obama and Trump, I had at times senior staff — usually it’s the chief of staff or somebody like that — inserting themselves into the health care of the president,” Jackson said. “And you just have to be very aggressive and let them know that you don’t work for them, you work directly for the president as a physician to the president, and you will not be sharing any medical information regarding the president with them.”

Jackson clarified that there is also a responsibility to engage senior staff, such as the chief of staff, on certain matters, noting that it involves walking a fine line.

“You have a responsibility to take care of the president, and you have a responsibility to the office of the president,” he added.

“If the president is completely incapable of doing his job and he’s not physically or mentally fit to be president of the United States, you cannot lie to the American people and tell them that he is fit for duty, which is what Dr. O’Connor repeatedly did.” (RELATED: Biden’s Sudden Cancer Diagnosis Doesn’t Add Up, Doctors Say)

He continued, saying there might be some responsibility to engage with the first lady on the matter.

“She’s the first person I’d approach. As part of the family, I’d talk to her and say, ‘Look, we have a problem here,’” Jackson stated.
