If you want good cell service without the big company pricing, Mint Mobile is what you’re looking for. The T-Mobile-owned company uses the same network to offer its customers the same great coverage for a much lower cost. It’s especially good for budget-minded shoppers since Mint Mobile deals come up frequently.

Here’s how Mint Mobile works: You either bring your own unlocked 4G or 5 G-compatible device to the network or purchase a SIM kit (effectively signing up for a plan). You can check the coverage map here to get an idea of how Mint will perform in your area.

Though switching cell service providers can sound intimidating, hopping on Mint is easy. After activating your eSIM or inserting your physical SIM, setup is fast and intuitive. It won’t be long before you’ll unlock unlimited talk and text plus your plan’s data. Look below for more details on all the Mint Mobile deals available today.

Today’s best Mint Mobile plans and deals

Better than previous deals we’ve seen, Mint Mobile’s annual Unlimited plan is now $120 off. Rather than the usual $30 per month rate, it’s available to new customers for only $20 a month.

    Mint Mobile 12-Month Unlimited Plan

Mint Mobile’s annual unlimited plan offers unlimited talk and text and truly unlimited high-speed data on T-Mobile’s network (subject to deprioritization) for an unrivaled value at $20/month with a limited-time discount.

If you’re not ready for a year-long commitment, new Mint Mobile members switching from AT&T or Verizon can get another line free. This promotion allows you to switch you and another person over for the price of one — you don’t even need to worry about losing your phone numbers. Just ensure your account is still active with your prior provider before porting.

    Mint Mobile 15GB Plans

Mint Mobile’s 15GB data plans can be all you need if you don’t usually use more than 15GB of monthly data and if T-Mobile’s coverage works for you. The 12-month package offers the best value, but unfortunately, it locks you in for a year. However, new customers can try the carrier for three months at low rates, starting at $15/month.

    Mint Mobile 20GB Plan

This plan offers unlimited talk and text, plus 20GB of data for $25 per month. Just sign up for a Mint Mobile SIM kit and select the three-month plan.

    Mint Mobile Unlimited Data Plan

Mint’s Unlimited plan offers unlimited talk, text, and data, now with no data caps. New customers can get half off their first three months when they pay upfront. We recommend signing up for the Unlimited option to score the most savings since it’s typically the priciest of the lineup.

To qualify for this new Mint Mobile deal, new lines need to be ported over from AT&T or Verizon, and the freebie lines will receive the same plan as the primary line. After your first three months, all members’ services will renew at full price.

You can also take advantage of some Mint Mobile deals, including one that gives you a free year of Unlimited service with the purchase of an iPhone 16.

In addition to unlimited talk and text, all Mint plans include free calling to Canada and Mexico, WiFi calling and text, and free mobile hotspot access to share your phone’s data with other devices. Hotspot data is limited to 10GB on the Unlimited plan, though.

    Mint Mobile sale on phones

If you don’t have a phone yet, you can find many great smartphone deals directly from Mint Mobile. Right now, the best discounts include $400 off the Google Pixel 9. You can browse the rest of Mint Mobile’s smartphone promotions on its deals page. All devices purchased directly through the carrier come with six free months of Mint.

    Is Mint Mobile good?

Ask most price-savvy wireless service shoppers which company you should consider switching to for lowering your monthly phone bill as much as possible, and Mint Mobile is almost guaranteed to come up. That’s for good reason—Mint Mobile offers solid wireless service on the same networks the big names use for a fraction of the cost. Specifically, Mint Mobile runs on T-Mobile’s nationwide 5G network and is now owned by that very company.

In our Mint Mobile review, we found that while overall service quality was pretty good, data speeds could be a little slow during peak usage. This affected video call quality enough that you might opt to wait until you’re on WiFi for Facetime action. But at only $15 a month, it is still one of the best values in alternative phone service, and signing up is easy with all of the Mint Mobile deals targeting new customers.

How Mint Mobile’s family plan works

Mint Mobile’s “Modern Family” plan diverges from the traditional family plans often touted by other carriers, which commonly feature discounts for adding additional lines. Instead, Mint charges the same rate for each line as it does for the first.

The real benefit of Mint’s family plan lies in its centralized management rather than cost savings. Customers can initiate a family plan with at least two lines, each priced according to its data allowance. For instance, a family could opt for a plan that includes one unlimited data line, a 15GB line, and a 5GB line.

How Mint Mobile’s unlimited data plan works

One of the Mint Mobile plans features unlimited data starting at $30 per month (currently discounted to $15), making it one of the more budget-friendly options available. Like many in its league, Mint limits the amount of high-speed data you get after hitting a certain threshold—40GB of usage in this case. After that, your speeds are cut down considerably until your cycle refreshes.

Mint also offers $50 off select Android phones when buying it with a 12-month plan.
