Star forward LeBron James missed L.A.’s last game – a 136-108 loss to the San Antonio Spurs – due to left foot arthritis, but the issue won’t cost him a second consecutive contest.

LeBron James will play vs. Mavericks on Thursday night

James isn’t listed on the official injury report for the contest, indicating that he’ll play in the game.

On the season, James has appeared in 35 games for L.A. and posted averages of 21.8 points, 6.9 assists, 5.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals per performance.

James being available for the game is good news for the Lakers, especially since Luka Doncic has been ruled out due to a hamstring strain. It will be the fourth consecutive game missed by Doncic.

Injuries won’t just impact the Lakers in the game, though. The Mavericks will be without star rookie Cooper Flagg due to a left midfoot sprain. The injury will also force Flagg to miss the Rising Stars Game at All-Star Weekend. Flagg is currently the favorite to win Rookie of the Year.

The Lakers have already bested the Mavs twice this season, and they’ll look to make it three straight times on Thursday night. The teams will also meet one more time in April.
