Jackie Chan is continuing to prove just how much of an iconic performer he is.

The “Karate Kid: Legends” actor, 71, revealed he still does his own stunts and continues to prove he can star in the action-packed movies he’s known for.

During an interview with Haute Living, Chan told the media outlet that there was no doubt that he still does his stunts.

“Of course, I always do my own stunts. It’s who I am,” Chan said. “That’s not changing until the day I retire, which is never!”

The “Rush Hour” star also said that doing stunts is like muscle memory for him, as it’s been in his routine for over six decades.

“When you’ve done it for 64 years straight, there’s no physical preparation anymore,” Chan said. “Everything is in your heart and soul; it is muscle memory.”

Stunts are also easier to do now with the incorporation of technological advances. Chan said, adding that actors can do virtually “anything.”

“In the old days, the only [choice we had] was to be there and jump; that’s it,” Chan said. “Today, with computers, actors can do anything, but there’s always a sense of reality that you feel is missing.”

“But I’m not encouraging anybody to risk their lives to do the stunts like I did; it truly is too dangerous,” Chain said.

In his newest film, Chan reprises the role of Mr. Han from the 2010 “Karate Kid” film, which starred Jaden Smith. Now, 15 years later, Chan is helping kung fu prodigy Li Fong, played by “Mean Girls” actor Ben Wang, discover his true abilities. Chan also stars alongside Ralph Macchio, who is reprising his role as Daniel LaRusso from the original “Karate Kid” films.

Chan is also known for acting alongside Chris Tucker in the “Rush Hour” franchise and for producing films like “Wish Dragon” and “ Iron Mask.”
