Jiri Lehecka vs Arthur Fils prediction

Jiri Lehecka advanced to his second Qatar Open quarter-final in a row after thrashing Zizou Bergs. Lehecka flourished in the first-round against Jenson Brooksby and produced a similar display here as he converted all four of his break point opportunities on his way to a 6-2 6-1 win. He has not been broken on serve in either of his two matches so far this week.

He now faces Arthur Fils. The Frenchman is through to his second quarter-final of the season after defeating fellow countryman Quentin Halys. Fils, who is still continuing his return to the tour after a long spell out with injury, made a fast start and took the first set with ease. Both players exchanged breaks at the start of the second, which eventually went to a tiebreak. Fils failed to convert two match points but managed to do so at the third attempt, winning 6-1 7-6 (7).

The head-to-head is locked at 1-1, and both were close three set matches. Lehecka and Fils have performed strongly this week and there is little to separate them.
