Kristin Juszczyk and Emma Grede’s Off Season apparel brand is widening its net once again to include the NBA.
This month, the brand is launching its first collaboration with the league, remaking its signature outerwear puffer collection to feature some of the NBA’s most popular franchises, including the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics. The collection itself will feature three different corduroy-lined styles, including a puffer vest, a standard puffer jacket and a cropped puffer jacket, a new style being introduced specifically as part of Off Season’s NBA collection. The garments will range in price from $285 to $375.
There is the potential for Off Season to work with more teams down the line, Juszczyk said, but the brand is taking a more focused approach with this first offering in order to ensure the level of quality fans have come to expect from the brand.
This is a familiar playbook for Off Season. When the brand first launched in Jan. 2025 with the NFL, it started with a line of puffer jackets, vests and longline coats for five teams before adding more products and more teams to its collections. Off Season launched with the WNBA in similar fashion in September, starting with the Indiana Fever, Las Vegas Aces, New York Liberty and Golden State Valkyries.
“We really want to walk before we run,” Juszczyk said, adding that an NBA partnership has been on her “mood board” for some time. “We just want to make sure that the product is resonating with the fans first.”
The collection will launch on Oct. 21, the same day as opening night of the NBA season, and will be available for purchase through the NBA store, Off Season’s website and Fanatics.
