Lockton Promotes Rapciewicz and Cullen to Lead US Casualty

Brokerage Lockton announced new leadership appointments within its U.S. casualty business. Peter Rapciewicz has been named U.S. casualty leader, and Jessica Cullen appointed head of excess casualty and operations.

Rapciewicz will oversee the strategic direction and growth of Lockton’s casualty offerings across the U.S., reporting directly to Devin Beresheim, Lockton’s U.S. risk solutions leader.

Cullen will help further strengthen Lockton’s casualty capabilities and support the continued growth of its excess liability platform. She will report to Rapciewicz.

Rapciewicz brings more than 20 years of insurance industry experience to the role, including over a decade of leadership at Lockton. Most recently, he served as Alternative Risk Solutions practice leader, where he led the team to significant growth and delivered innovative approaches across a broad suite of solutions, including parametric insurance, structured risk solutions, captive consulting, fronting arrangements, alternative collateral strategies, and legacy solutions on a global scale.

Jessica Cullen

Cullen joined Lockton in 2024 as head of the U.S. casualty practice, London, where she led a team of specialists delivering global casualty insurance solutions across multiple industries, and geographies. She brings 20 years of insurance industry experience to the role, most recently serving as managing director of the casualty practice at Gallagher.

Rapciewicz and Cullen are based in New York.
