NFL fans furious over Super Bowl commercial: ‘Should be illegal’
The Super Bowl had yet to kick off Sunday evening when some fans were already upset with one of the commercials.
Following the national anthem and before the start of the game, NBC cut to a commercial for “Scream 7″ — a horror film that is set to come out later this month.

Needless to say, people were not happy about an ad for a scary movie being shown as families tuned in for the Super Bowl.
“Showing a commercial for ‘Scream7′ at 5:30 pm right after the National Anthem and right before the Super Bowl kickoff should absolutely be illegal. So absurd,“ one fan said.
Another added: “Seriously, why in the world was a commercial for Scream7 the first one after the anthem? Do they not remember that people watch the game with kids in the room? STUPID!”
It’s certainly understandable if kids were scared from the ad, which included a levitating body and a voice saying “I’m going to make everyone you love suffer while you watch.”

“Think the NFL just traumatized my 5-year-old for life now with this disgustingly gory Scream 7 commercial. It’s a family day for god’s sake!!! WE WILL NOT BE WATCHING,” another post said.
As for the actual game, the Seahawks beat the Patriots 29-13 in what was a defensive struggle for most of the night.
