Nifty 50 attempting to bounce back in the early trades after having witnessed a sharp fall on Friday. The index touched a high of 26,137 in the early trades and has come down from there giving back the gains. It is currently trading flat at 26,069. The advances/declines ratio is at 20:30. This is negative. This has to turn in favour of the advances in order to see a sustained rise during the day.
Nifty 50 Outlook
Intraday support is in the 26,050-26,000 region. Nifty has to sustain above 26,000 and rise back above 26,100 in order to get some relief. Only then the doors will open for a rise to 26,200-26,250 again.
In case Nifty breaks below 26,000, it can come under more pressure. Such a break can take it down to 25,950 during the day. It will also keep the downside open to see 25,800 in the next few days.
So, the price action in the 26,050-26,000 region will need a close watch during the day.
Nifty 50 Futures
The Nifty 50 November Futures (26,110) is up 0.1 per cent. Immediate support is at 26,080 which is holding well for now. Below that, 26,060-26,040 is the next important support zone. The contract has to break below 26,040 to come under pressure. Only then the danger of seeing more fall towards 25,900 will come into the picture.
As long as the contract stays above 26,040, the bias will remain positive. We can expect the Nifty 50 November Futures contract to rise towards 26,200-26,300 in the coming sessions.
Trade Strategy
Positions trades can be considered now. Go long now at 26,110. Accumulate on dips at 26,070. Keep the stop-loss at 25,990. Trail the stop-loss up to 26,140 as soon as the contract goes up to 26,170. Revise the stop-loss further up to 26,180 and 26,220 when the contract touches 26,205 and 26,250 respectively. Exit the long positions at 26,280.
