One Inc (Folsom, Calif.) had launched an integrated 835 Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) solution within its ClaimsPay platform, offering healthcare providers enhanced access to remittance data and streamlined claims payment processing to workers’ compensation insurers.
The enhanced solution enables property/casualty (P&C) insurers, including those specializing in workers’ compensation, to generate and distribute standardized 835 remittance files directly to providers’ revenue cycle management systems. The functionality provides detailed line-item data matched to corresponding payments, supporting more accurate reconciliation and reduced administrative workloads.

“Our goal is always to proactively solve insurers’ payment challenges,” says Ian Drysdale, CEO of One Inc. “By integrating comprehensive ERA capabilities within ClaimsPay, we empower workers’ compensation and other P&C insurers to meet or exceed stringent regulatory demands while significantly boosting operational efficiency.” He adds, “This advanced remittance capability ensures the payment process is more precise, transparent, and beneficial for all stakeholders.”
According to the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare, fewer than 20 percent of workers’ compensation claims currently utilize 835 ERA files. The organization estimates that broader adoption could save the U.S. healthcare system up to $20 billion annually by reducing errors, accelerating processing, and lowering administrative costs.
One Inc’s solution supports compliance with state regulations and integrates with insurers’ core systems to automate the entire remittance process—from data generation through delivery to providers’ selected clearinghouses. Providers retain ongoing access to remittance data via One Inc’s vendor portal, enhancing flexibility and long-term transparency.
The new ERA capabilities reinforce One Inc’s platform features for workers’ compensation and the broader P&C insurance market. The company currently supports 10 of the 15 largest workers’ compensation insurers through its unified payments platform.
