PDS Limited, that provides fashion solutions and has suppliers in multiple geographies, will explore possibilities for partnerships in Egypt and Latin America in the wake of the US tariffs, said Sanjay Jain, its Group Chief Executive Officer.
Almost 15% of the country’s topline comes from the US. “There is anxiety among the customers. There are discussions. However, PDS brings flexibility to service customers from different locations,” he said.
Meanwhile, with the India-U.K. Free Trade Agreement, customers in the U.K. have turned their focus to sourcing from India. Indian apparel exporters will now look at the UK as an alternative market, he said.
