Vince Gilligan’s latest television series has officially arrived, and it’s not on AMC this time around. We’ve compiled everything you need to know about how to watch Pluribus, including release info and global streaming details.
Best known for creating Breaking Bad and co-creating its beloved spin-off prequel, Better Call Saul, Vince Gilligan has established himself as a must-see TV creator. His latest venture, Pluribus, leaves behind the meth and cartel-focused world of Walter White and Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman for the most part, although it’s once again set in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and has a few nods to its predecessors.
The most notable connection between Gilligan’s shows is Rhea Seehorn, who played Kim Wexler — Jimmy’s partner in crime and in life — on Better Call Saul. She returns to star in Pluribus as Carol Sturka, a romantasy author and the “most miserable person on Earth” who becomes tasked with saving the world from an infectious happiness virus. It’s a decidedly science fiction turn for Gilligan, but he picked the right streaming service for the show: Apple TV has taken on a sci-fi focus in many of its best original series, including Severance, For All Mankind, and Silo.
Below, we’ve outlined what you need to know about streaming the new show, along with a breakdown of the trailer. Details have been largely kept under wraps since the show was first announced, but we’ve highlighted what we know so far.
How to watch Pluribus in the US
Pluribus is an Apple TV original, which means that the Apple TV streaming service is the only way to watch the series. Subscriptions cost $13 a month in the US, but new subscribers can try out the service free for one week. The series premiered with two episodes, and one new episode will drop weekly through December 26, 2025.
Apple TV (Monthly Plan)
Apple TV has a limited lineup, but it’s less expensive than other ad-free services and offers a growing selection of critically acclaimed series you can’t stream anywhere else.
New episodes of Pluribus drop on Fridays. However, we’re big Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul fans here at Business Insider and double-checked the Apple TV guide early and were pleased to see that the first episodes were available on Thursday evening. This early release is a trend among some Apple TV shows, including Severance, so we wouldn’t be surprised if episodes continue to drop on Thursday nights. We’ll check back next week to see if this is the case and update this article accordingly.
How to watch Pluribus in the UK, Canada, and everywhere else
Apple TV is the streaming home of Pluribus around the globe, so fans in the UK, Canada, and other regions will be able to tune in to new episodes at the same time they are released in the US. Prices vary by country, but UK subscriptions cost £10 a month. Like the US, many regions come with a seven-day free trial.
How to watch Pluribus from anywhere
Since Apple TV is so widely available, you’ll most likely be able to stream the show from anywhere. But if you happen to be traveling through a region where you’re unable to watch, you can keep up with your usual streaming options with the help of a VPN, or virtual private network. VPNs are cybersecurity tools that let you change your device’s virtual location, so your usual websites and apps work from anywhere. NordVPN is our top recommendation, thanks to its user-friendliness, massive catalog of global servers, and 30-day money-back guarantee.
NordVPN Plan
NordVPN is one of the top VPN services in the business. It offers excellent value with a strong selection of features and a low monthly price. A wide selection of international servers, high-end security, fast connections, and audited privacy protection have made the brand a household name in the world of VPNs.
Pluribus trailer
The Pluribus trailer is careful not to give too much away, but the 2-minute-long video offers fans a glimpse of what they can expect in the series. The trailer (set to The Righteous Brothers’ “You’ll Never Walk Alone”) finds Carol as she tries to figure out what’s going on with the rest of the peppy, happy world. In the video, she’s seen talking over the phone to a man standing at the White House podium. “Rest assured, Carol,” he says. “We will figure out what makes you different.” When she asks why, he simply replies, “So you can join us.” Check out the full trailer below:
Note: The use of VPNs is illegal in certain countries and using VPNs to access region-locked streaming content might constitute a breach of the terms of use for certain services. Business Insider does not endorse or condone the illegal use of VPNs.
