Swiss Re Corporate Solutions (Zurich) has named Adrian Hall as Chief Executive Officer, United States, as part of the company’s updated market unit structure designed to accelerate responsiveness and deepen broker and client engagement.
Hall, who is currently based in London, previously served as Managing Director and Head of the UK, Ireland, South Africa, and EMEA Wholesale for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions. He is also a member of the EMEA Executive Team and a board director for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions South Africa.
“I am delighted to lead our business in the United States,” Hall says. “I look forward to connecting with our brokers and customers in the market over the coming months.”
Hall joined Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in Canada, where he served as CEO and Chief Agent. He was also a member of the North American Executive Team and Chair of the North America Trading Forum. His industry leadership roles include former Chair of the Global Commercial Insurance Association in Canada and board member for Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade (WICC).
An insurance executive with nearly 30 years of experience, Hall has held senior leadership positions across the UK, Middle East, Latin America, and North America. He began his career in London and has lived and worked on five continents.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business from the University of Wales, Swansea, and a master’s certification in marketing leadership from York University’s Schulich School of Business in Canada.
