I’ve been reviewing home entertainment products for over a decade, so I stay up-to-date on the latest pricing trends for TVs. Top models can be very expensive, but Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days event is offering a rare chance to snag some of my favorite TVs at a fantastic discount. Right now, the best Prime Day TV deals feature record-low prices on OLED, QLED, and LED displays.
If you’re on the hunt for a great TV deal, my top recommendation is the Samsung S90D. The 65-inch model is down to $1,298, which is nearly the lowest price it has ever been. The S90D is one of Samsung’s top OLED displays, delivering incredible contrast and color for the money. If you’re on a budget, the 55-inch TCL QM6K is another great option. This affordable QLED TV is one of the few displays in its class that supports advanced gaming features. It’s back down to an all-time low of $448. However, if you’re looking for a massive screen for movie nights and game days, TCL’s 98-inch QM7K is my top pick. The QM7K is on sale for an incredible deal price of $1,998, which is $800 off its typical price.
You can find more Prime Day TV deals below, and I’ll be updating my recommendations throughout Amazon’s two-day sale. For more savings, head over to our roundup of all the best October Prime Day deals and visit our guide to the best Amazon coupons and codes.

Samsung 65-inch S90D OLED 4K TV
The S90D is our favorite TV overall. Its QD-OLED panel delivers a high-contrast image with vivid colors, wide viewing angles, and impressive brightness for this class.
Samsung 65-inch S95F OLED 4K TV
The S95F is Samsung’s latest flagship 4K TV. It’s one of the top high-end displays of 2025 and uses an advanced QD-OLED panel with an anti-glare matte screen.
Samsung 65-inch Frame TV (LS03F)
Samsung’s Frame TV is designed to look like a piece of art on your wall thanks to its flush mount, matte screen, and magnetic frame bezels. Its image quality is mediocre, but its style makes it a great pick for design-focused buyers.
Samsung Frame Pro QLED 4K TV
The Frame Pro is an upgraded version of Samsung’s popular gallery-style TV. It has a thin wall mount, matte screen, and interchangeable bezels, which make it look like a piece of art on your wall. The Pro model is brighter than the standard one, but it still can’t match the image quality of Samsung’s best QLED TVs.
Samsung 65-inch QN90F QLED 4K TV
The QN90F is Samsung’s top 4K QLED TV for 2025. It offers a slightly brighter image than last year’s model and uses a new matte screen that greatly reduces reflections.
The best Prime Day LG TV deals
It’s expensive at full price, but LG’s high-end G5 OLED offers some of the best image quality I’ve seen. This Prime Day deal helps alleviate some of the sting with up to $1,400 off, depending on the size you choose. For more info about the G5 and LG’s other TVs, visit my LG G5 4K TV review and guide to all of the best LG TVs.

The best Prime Day TCL TV deals
TCL has established itself as one of the top value brands, offering several midrange and high-end TV models that cost considerably less than similar options from Samsung, LG, and Sony. Currently, the brand’s entire Mini LED lineup is available at discounted prices, offering some of the lowest prices we’ve seen. For more information on each model, check out our guide to the best TCL TVs.
TCL 65-inch QM8K QLED 4K TV
The QM8K is one of the best QLEDs TCL has ever produced. New backlight improvements significantly limit unwanted blooming, the TV gets exceptionally bright, and viewing angles are wider than last year’s model.
TCL 65-inch QM7K QLED 4K TV
The TCL QM7K is an excellent midrange QLED TV. Its Mini LED backlight delivers high brightness, and it has better contrast control and wider viewing angles than last year’s model.
TCL 65-inch QM6K QLED 4K TV
The QM6K is an excellent entry-level Mini LED TV with solid contrast, vibrant colors, and decent black levels. However, its HDR brightness capabilities are limited compared to step-up models.
The best Prime Day Hisense TV deals
Hisense is another highly competitive TV brand that’s known for offering displays that undercut similar models from rivals. Most notably, its U8QG is one of the brightest TVs on the market, but it’s much more affordable than dimmer options from Sony and Samsung. Currently, several U8QG sizes are available at record-low prices. Just note that the 65- and 85-inch editions use a slightly different panel than other sizes, which gives them better contrast but narrower viewing angles. Read our full Hisense U8QG 4K TV review for more details.
Hisense 65-inch U8QG QLED 4K TV
The Hisense U8QG impresses with one of the brightest pictures on the market, and pairs that searing luminance with excellent contrast for a dynamic, punchy picture.
The best Prime Day Sony TV deals
Sony is the premium TV brand to beat. Although its displays tend to be pricier than those from other companies, Sony’s top offerings have an edge in image accuracy, which makes them a great option for home theater enthusiasts willing to splurge. Currently, the brand’s high-end 65-inch A95L OLED is available at a new all-time low of $1,998, representing a $900 discount from its previous selling price. Head over to our guide to the best Sony TVs for more info about the brand’s lineup.
Sony 65-inch A95L OLED 4K TV
Although it’s an older model, Sony’s A95L remains one of the best high-end TVs available. Its QD-OLED panel delivers an incredibly accurate image. It’s also got a premium design and Google’s convenient smart TV interface.
Sony 65-inch Bravia 8 II OLED 4K TV
The Bravia 8 II is Sony’s flagship OLED display for 2025. It’s pricey, but it delivers some of the best image performance on the market, with a brighter picture than the older A95L.
Sony 65-inch Bravia 7 Mini LED QLED 4K TV
Sony’s Bravia 7 isn’t as bright as its flagship Bravia 9, but it still uses Mini LED technology to offer a high-contrast image. This 2024 model delivers similar performance as the older X95L, but it’s available in more sizes.
The best Prime Day Fire TV deals
Amazon offers its own lineup of smart TVs featuring the brand’s Fire TV interface. Generally, TCL and Hisense tend to offer better-performing TVs at around the same price, but Amazon’s displays are worthwhile when they’re on sale, and the company has some smaller TVs with features that many rivals lack. Most notably, the 50-inch Omni QLED is an excellent buy at its current $350 deal price. Check out our Fire TV guide for more info about Amazon’s TV and streaming device products. And head over to our Prime Day Fire TV Stick deals roundup for streaming device discounts.
Amazon 50-inch Omni QLED 4K TV
Though we think the larger versions of Amazon’s Omni QLED TV are overpriced for what you get, the 50-inch model offers an excellent balance between cost and performance. It has handy Alexa features and is one of the only 50-inch TVs available with local dimming, which enables solid contrast performance.
FAQs
Steven Cohen/Business Insider
Is Prime Day a good time to buy a TV?
Yes, Amazon’s October Prime Day is one of the best times to get an excellent discount on a TV. Currently, we’re seeing some of the lowest prices of the year on top displays. A couple of older TV models that remain in stock, like the Samsung S90D and Sony A95L, are an especially great value right now, and this is one of the last opportunities you’ll have to snag many of them before remaining inventory runs out. Newer 2025 models are also seeing record-low prices.
What are the top TVs available?
We review TVs year-round using a rigorous testing process to evaluate picture quality, gaming capabilities, smart features, general usability, and overall value. Based on our hands-on experience, the Samsung S90D is our pick for the best TV overall. This OLED display offers an impressive balance between performance and price. Meanwhile, we consider the LG G5 the top high-end TV for picture quality, and the TCL QM6K to be the best budget TV for those who want an affordable TV that doesn’t compromise on features.
What size TV is best?
The best TV size for your room is highly dependent on the amount of space you have and your budget. Generally speaking, larger TVs offer a greater sense of immersion, as they can encompass a larger portion of your field of view. However, bigger TV sizes tend to cost more, and of course, take up a lot of room.
For most rooms and setups, a 65-inch TV strikes a great balance between immersion and value, while maintaining a manageable footprint. Most brands use 65 inches as their flagship size, resulting in a wide range of models available.
But if 65 inches is too big, you can still find solid 55-, 50-, and 43-inch TVs on the market. But the smaller you go, the fewer midrange and high-end options you’ll have to choose from.
Meanwhile, extra-large TVs above 65 inches have been surging in popularity, and prices have become more reasonable than they were just a few years ago. This is especially true for TCL and Hisense models as both brands offer some of the best values in the 75- to 100-inch range.
