Jeremy Lin took the NBA by storm with the New York Knicks in a supernova event never to be seen again.

Lin will be back in the spotlight on Friday night when he plays in the Celebrity Game at NBA All-Star Weekend. He’ll be teamed up with the 7-foot-6 former NBA player Tacko Fall, which seems like a great combination to take advantage of a game that otherwise doesn’t have many former NBA players.

It’s been a little while since Lin was on an NBA floor.

What happened to Jeremy Lin?

Lin is officially retired from professional basketball as of 2025, which is why he’s able to play in the Celebrity Game now.

He traveled far and wide to keep hooping after Linsanity.

The 37-year old went on his crazy run early in 2012.

After that, he played for the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, Charlotte Hornets, Brooklyn Nets, Atlanta Hawks and Toronto Raptors.

He then went to China to play for the Beijing Ducks before coming to the G League to play for the Santa Cruz Warriors.

After that, Lin played for the Ducks again, then in the same league for the Guangzhou Loong Lions.

Lin went from there to Taiwan, where he played for the Kaohsiung 17LIVE Steelers. He finished his career in that same league for the New Taipei Kings, where he was an MVP and a champion.

Lin did win one NBA ring, with the Raptors.

The one-time Harvard legend from Palo Alto, California gets to play in the Celebrity Game back in his home state.

Maybe he can catch fire once again.
