Why Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss didn’t get NFL combine invite

OXFORD — Ole Miss football quarterback Trinidad Chambliss is not among the 15 quarterbacks who were invited to the 2026 NFL combine.
However, Chambliss has been ranked as a solid quarterback prospect in the 2026 NFL Draft. His most common mock draft projection is between Rounds 3 and 5. He is seeking to return to Ole Miss for the 2026 season.
Five Ole Miss players got an invite: Reciever De’Zhaun Stribling, receiver Harrison Wallace, tight end Dae’Quan Wright, offensive tackle Diego Pounds and defensive lineman Zxavian Harris.
Why Ole Miss’ Trinidad Chambliss didn’t get NFL combine invite
Chambliss is suing the NCAA for an injunction in Lafayette Country Chancery Court. His hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. Feb. 12 in Pittsboro, Mississippi, in Calhoun County.
Chambliss claims respiratory issues kept him off the field at Ferris State in 2022. The NCAA denied his medical redshirt waiver for the 2022 season, as well as his appeal of that decision.
Tennessee quarterback Joey Aguilar, who is also seeking an injunction to return for 2026, was not invited to the combine.
The NFL combine is in Indianapolis from Feb. 23 and March 2.
