March is the month that shines a spotlight on smiles and those who look after them. National Dentists Day falls on 6th March and World Oral Health Day follows closely behind on 20th March 2026.
To celebrate, DenTek has teamed up with dentists and hygienists to cut through the dental hygiene jargon and find out what they really want their patients to know – to clean between the teeth.
Interdental cleaning is vital for keeping teeth and gums healthy but only about a quarter of adults clean between their teeth regularly. The majority of tooth decay starts between the teeth but a toothbrush alone cleans just 60% of the tooth so the importance of adding interdental cleaning cannot be overstated.

- Competition entry is only open to residents of the United Kingdom mainland aged 18 years or older. No purchase necessary.

- The Promoter will not be responsible for lost or late competition entries.
- Only one entry per person is permitted for the duration of the competition. Multiple entries by the same individual (including but not limited to use of multiple email addresses) will be considered void and will result in disqualification.
- The winner will be chosen at random by an independent judge and will be notified via email or telephone. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- By entering the competition you consent to being communicated to by the Promoter and the company offering the prize. Following such notification, the winner will be required to send the Promoter full details of their postal address to which the prize will be delivered (if applicable) and contact number. You consent to your details being passed onto the company offering the prize so it can be sent out.
- The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any material associated with the competition, as well as their entry.
- If the Promoter cannot: (a) contact the winner (via the details provided at the date of entry) within 5 working days or (b) the winner does not return details of its postal address to the Promoter within 10 days of notification that they have won the Prize, the Promoter will re-draw a new winner until a winner on these terms is found.
