Alphabet (GOOG, Financials) has completed its $32 billion acquisition of cybersecurity firm Wiz, its biggest deal ever. As commercial clients increasingly use cloud infrastructure and artificial intelligence products, Google’s cloud division acquired Wiz in March 2025 to strengthen its security.To remain compatible with key industry platforms, Wiz’s security platform will run on Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud.
