Alphabet (GOOGL) could have substantially more upside as artificial intelligence strengthens rather than disrupts its core businesses, according to Tigress Financial Partners.

Analyst Ivan Feinseth reiterated a Strong Buy rating and raised his Alphabet price target to a Street-high $485 from $415, implying roughly 39.6% upside from the level cited in the report.

The bullish thesis centers on Alphabet turning its massive AI investments into growth across Search, Cloud and Gemini.

Search remains the most important piece.

Feinseth believes AI Overviews and AI Mode can make Google more useful for complex queries, product comparisons and planning, potentially creating additional opportunities to monetize high-intent searches.

Recent results support that argument.

Alphabet’s second-quarter revenue rose 24% from a year earlier to $119.8 billion, while Search and Other revenue increased 17%. YouTube advertising grew 13%, and operating income climbed 30% to $40.77 billion.

Google Cloud is emerging as an equally important AI engine.

Cloud revenue surged 82% to $24.8 billion, while operating income more than tripled to $8.8 billion and margins reached 35.6%. Its $514 billion backlog also gives Alphabet significant visibility into future enterprise demand.

Investors Takeaway

The key shift is that AI is increasingly becoming a monetization story rather than simply a spending story.

Alphabet has distribution across Search, YouTube, Android, Workspace and Cloud, while its vertically integrated stack combines Gemini models, proprietary chips, infrastructure and enterprise software.

That could give the company greater control over inference costs and performance than rivals relying more heavily on third-party technology.

Gemini adds another layer.

The platform has reached 950 million monthly active users, more than 9 million monthly developers and roughly 22 billion API tokens processed per minute.

Feinseth sees monetization opportunities across subscriptions, APIs, enterprise software, agents and productivity products.

The risk is that Alphabet still needs to prove that enormous AI investment can generate returns strong enough to justify continued spending.

But Tigress’s $485 target reflects a view that Search resilience, rapidly improving Cloud economics and multiple Gemini revenue streams could push Alphabet into a stronger earnings phase than investors currently expect.
