Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) may lean on Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) chips through Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) as it prepares to roll out a revamped version of Siri, according to The Information.
The report said parts of the new Siri could run on Nvidia Blackwell B200 GPUs provided by Google. The system is also expected to use Nvidia’s confidential compute feature, which keeps data encrypted while it is being processed. That detail matters because Apple has been trying to push deeper into AI while still protecting its privacy first image.
The setup could also connect to Apple’s earlier Google deal from January, under which Gemini is helping power the next version of Siri. That means some Siri queries may run on Google Cloud, though it is still unclear how the system will work with Apple’s own Private Cloud Compute.
