Investing.com — Bitget Wallet is launching Assetback, a new asset cashback program that allows Bitget Wallet Card users to earn rewards in Bitcoin, gold or tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs rather than fiat currency or airline miles, Investing.com has learned.
The program, which will be available globally from Aug. 1, lets users choose to receive rewards in the form of Bitcoin, gold (XAUT) or tokenized equities including Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA), Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA), Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOGL) and the S&P 500, delivered through xStocks, Payward’s tokenized equity framework.
Stablecoins are also expected to be available as an alternative. The company will allow eligible users to earn up to 3% asset cashback, with rewards automatically routed into the user’s chosen asset once selected in advance.
The Bitget Wallet Card is expected to be available in more than 50 markets and accepted worldwide through Visa and Mastercard networks. The self-custodial wallet currently serves more than 100 million users globally.
Alvin Kan, COO of Bitget Wallet, told Investing.com the program reflects a broader shift in how tokenized real-world assets are entering everyday consumer finance. “Tokenized real-world assets are beginning to move beyond institutional markets and trading platforms into everyday consumer finance,” Kan said. “Card rewards are an early example of how payments, saving and investing can converge in a single experience, turning routine spending into small, recurring allocations to equities, gold or Bitcoin.”
He added that automation of this kind could broaden how consumers build exposure to both traditional and digital assets over time, particularly in markets where access to global investments remains costly or complex.
The launch comes as crypto card spending accelerates across the sector, with monthly volume reaching $656 million in May 2026, more than double the $271 million recorded a year earlier. Bitget Wallet Card spending nearly tripled in the first half of 2026.
