Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest added to Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA), Broadcom (NASDAQ:AVGO), Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOG) and Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:META) last week while trimming Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ:AMD).
The purchases came as the manager leaned into names tied to artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure and digital advertising. Ark bought more than 300,000 Nvidia shares, worth about $35.7 million, along with over 22,000 Broadcom shares valued at about $5.9 million.
It also picked up about 267,600 Alphabet shares, worth more than $70 million, and added more than 45,700 Meta Platforms shares, valued at close to $29 million. The moves suggest Wood remains constructive on large-cap tech after the recent sell-off.
By contrast, Ark sold more than 190,000 Advanced Micro Devices shares, worth about $59 million. The reduction points to a more selective stance on semiconductors, even as Ark kept buying Nvidia, Broadcom, Alphabet and Meta Platforms.
