Nova Minerals Ltd (ASX:NVA, NASDAQ:NVA, OTC:NVAAF, FRA:QM3) continues to strengthen its leadership and executive team with the appointment of Ashlie Thorburn as chief financial officer, starting on April 20, 2026. The appointment comes as Novaย enters an importantย growth and development phaseย at its flagship Estelle Gold and Critical Minerals Project in Alaska.
Thorburn brings more than 20 years of experience in senior finance leadership roles, largely in the mining sector across both listed and private companies.
Her background includes experience with SEC, TSX and ASX reporting, as well as financial reporting, audit and compliance, corporate governance and investor relations support. She has also worked closely with boards and audit committees and has been involved in debt and equity financings, corporate strategy and transactions including public listings and mergers and acquisitions.

Her experience includes financial modelling for feasibility studies and mine development, and the implementation of robust reporting frameworks aligned with industry standards. Most recently, Thorburn was US finance lead at Southwest Critical Materials, where she was responsible for acquisition integration, budgeting, treasury management and private equity reporting.
Before that, she served as a senior manager at Armanino Advisory, advising on finance transformation, public company readiness and technical accounting matters.
Earlier in her career, Thorburn held the role of vice president and controller at Hycroft Mining Holding Corp., where she helped support the companyโs transition to a public entity and worked to strengthen financial reporting processes.
She has also held a number of controller and corporate controller positions, building experience in internal controls and supporting early-stage, high-growth businesses.
