Founded by veterans of Google, Chronicle, EvolutionIQ, and Accenture, QueryStory has shown strong results with Fortune 500 companies in highly regulated industries such as financial services and consulting.
SAN FRANCISCO, August 26, 2026–(BUSINESS WIRE)–QueryStory today emerged from stealth, launching a new agentic data platform designed to close the gap between company data and decisions. The company’s founders, veterans of Google, Chronicle, EvolutionIQ, and Accenture, have spent more than two decades building large-scale data systems. QueryStory is backed by Brightmind Partners, with participation from New York Life Ventures.
QueryStory was founded on a simple yet important belief: the people closest to a decision should be able to reach the data behind it.
The real understanding of a businessโwhy something happened and what to do nextโrarely lives in one place. It’s spread across dashboards, teams, documents, and conversations, which makes it hard to align people, learn from past decisions, and move quickly with confidence. Data alone doesn’t close that gap, and strong analysis falls short when the reasoning behind it lives somewhere else. AI has made answers faster to produce without making them easier to validate, and companies are accumulating risk that can’t be traced to a source.
“I lived this at Google’s Threat Analysis Group. Organizations already had the data to see threats coming; they just couldn’t make sense of it in time,” said Shapor Naghibzadeh, co-founder and chief executive officer of QueryStory. “So we built Chronicle, Google’s security data platform, and collapsed a messy multi-vendor stack into one unified system for security data. QueryStory does that for everything else.”
QueryStory covers the full path from data to decision. Traditional analytics platforms stop at a chart, leaving each team to interpret it alone. QueryStory goes further and supports the entire decision lifecycle, including proactive guidance to the functional teams. It connects an organization’s data with the context that gives it meaning, so both technical and functional leaders work from the same governed foundation and then act on that information together. Every answer is scored, traceable, and continuously re-checked, so teams know the moment the information stops being right.
QueryStory is currently deployed within the insurance, consulting, tech, and retail sectors and partners with Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, and NVIDIA.
“We invest in teams addressing the friction that compounds at enterprise scale, and few problems compound like the distance between a company’s data and its decisions,” said Tim Del Bello, Managing Director at New York Life Ventures. “We knew the QueryStory team was uniquely equipped to close this gap, and it’s why we’re putting their technology to work on our own data. As enterprises put more AI into production, the constraint shifts from producing answers to trusting them, and that is the solution QueryStory has built.”
