Well, Yahoo Finance’s Market Madness has hit the Sweet 16 phase of the competition. On the right side of the bracket, we saw some big shocks, including McDonald’s take out Nvidia on Market Catalyst yesterday. We’re focusing on the left side of the draw today with big names like Walmart and Alphabet still in this tournament. Joining now, we got Will Ryan, GraniteShares founder and CEO for today’s Market Madness, sponsored by Everpure. Palenteer

versus Hood. Now that’s a solid match up. Alex Carp, Vlad Tenev, two men enter, one man leave. You say it’s Palenteer Will, make the case.
00:35 Will Ryan
Well, Josh, I think um Palenteer, there’s probably no stock that’s more in the news right now with what’s going on in the Middle East than Palenteer. So this is a company that has grown, you know, really exponentially since they debuted um on the New York Stock Exchange, the moved to the Nasdaq. Um I think really the only knock that people have ever had about Palenteer is the valuation and of course, with the stock being down amongst all the volatility, um year to date, maybe this is the time that people re-examine that.

Walmart versus Eli Lilly. You say it’s Walmart. Walk me through that.
01:09 Will Ryan
Yeah, I mean I think Walmart is the gold standard could argue in the retail space. Um this is a company that you know, reached a trillion uh in revenue, has access to vast majority, could be as high as 95% of all US homes in terms of rapid delivery, um and is really entrenched, you know, across multiple retailing platforms. Completely resilient business and I think again, one business that um despite shocks that potentially get thrown at it, um comes back and continues to deliver good results. And I think AI and autonomy um only benefit this company going forward.

Google versus AMD. That’s a good one. You say Google, you prefer Google. Why, Will?
01:53 Will Ryan
Google is, you know, kind of a great story um in respects to AI. This was the company that remember, everybody said was going to, you know, get destroyed by uh AI large language models that you know, Google led the search industry for so long, such a dominant player within the space and really had become an AI laggard. and last year we just saw that, you know, narrative being completely rewritten that Google went from AI laggard to AI leader and has really successfully managed to, you know, pivot their business to AI, you know, search, large number of searches now or AI based searches, infrastructure wise, um they’re really doing a good job. And of course, all the properties that they own are still growing massively like YouTube, etc. So this is a company that you you just never count out and, you know, with advertising revenue uh remaining exceptionally resilient, you know, record revenues last year.

Tesla versus B of A, you say, stick with Mr. Musk.
02:48 Will Ryan
Yeah, I think again, just continuing on the the AI theme, you know, the company’s had a rocky year like a lot of the big mega cap uh tech companies. But I do think that there are so many things that are key to the future story of Tesla that investors know about, you know, none of these are secrets. Um but just haven’t actually materialized yet. So particularly the deployment of autonomy, robo taxis, uh full self-driving, you know, these all have incredible potential, great feedback, you know, from customers. um but just haven’t been deployed at scale yet. The Optimus the humanoid robot um potential as well, people are very excited about could be an amazing product for the company, but just have to be realized.
